I enjoy my trips to game reserves probably more than the next man, but I still like this idea a lot: South Africa’s Marine Big Five, as depicted in an infograph by Also, kudo for having exactly the right effect – I went along to the Gansbaai website and read loads of interesting things about the area.

Apparently, this was where the cry ‘Women and children first’ was originally used on a sinking ship back in 1852 – presumably in any earlier times it would have been very unusual for women and children to even be on most ocean-going vessels.

Awesome infograph below – you’ll probably want to click on it to make it bigger.
