Galaxy S5 gets ADH Premium super warranty

Samsung’s accidental damage from handling (ADH) warranty was a major selling point for the Galaxy S4. The warranty which entitles users to two free water or screen damage repairs is back for the Galaxy S5 and it’s now even better.

The came the ADH Premium warranty which debuted last year with the Galaxy Note 3 phablet. It introduced an additional level of benefit for customers who had bought the device with a door-to-door collection and drop off service for damaged Note 3s. Also included is a loan service, called Smart Swop, that gives you another device to use while yours in for repairs.

The ADH Pnremium warranty has now found its way to the flagship Galaxy S5 as well bringing parity to Samsung’s high end offerings. We’re almost certain though that people will be claiming for repairs on those 5.1-inch Super AMOLED HD displays rather that for water damage given the fact that the Galaxy S5 has an IP67 rating making it water resistant at depths of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes at a time.

Just remember to register for the service following  the steps on the Samsung ADH website or by downloading the ADH Premium app from the Google Play Store.
