The new space exploration and building game on the block is Astroneer, and it’s already attracted a dedicated community that has produced a free 3D print of the game’s character model.
This static model doesn’t have any points of articulation, but the one you’ll see in the gallery below does have parts – such as the backpack – attached with magnets so it can be removed if needed.
Aside from the detailed figure there are also various small prints of the game’s resource “nuggets”. The larger ones are also fitted with magnets, though we can’t tell you why. Maybe its to link them together in a chain.
If you want your very own fictional astronaut, the files to 3D print one are free from MyMiniFactory. You’re going to have to spend quite some time painting when it comes out of the printer, especially if you want the visor to look realistic like the test print.
