House Of Cards crew make new harassment claims against Kevin Spacey

Eight employees who worked on the Netflix series House Of Cards have made claims of sexual harassment against Kevin Spacey.

Speaking to CNN on condition of anonymity, the eight say that Spacey – who plays the lead role of Francis “Frank” Underwood in House Of Cards – created a ‘toxic environment’ on the set with his continual ‘predatory’ harassment of crew members. Allegations included inappropriate touching of young male crew members and inappropriate comments.

The revelations from the House Of Cards crew are just the latest in a series of allegations made against Spacey this week. Four days ago, Star Trek: Discovery star Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of sexually assaulting him when he was 14-years-old.

Since then, more men have stepped forward, including director Tony Montana, who claims Spacey groped him in a public bathroom, and Roberto Cavazos, an actor who worked at the Old Vic Theatre in London when Spacey was its artistic director in 2014.

This week, Netflix announced the sixth season of House Of Cards would be its last and then announced that production on it had been halted altogether.

In the wake of Rapp’s allegations, Spacey released an apology saying he didn’t remember the incident.

“If I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years,” Spacey said.

On Monday the actor’s publicist Staci Wolf said on Monday that Spacey was seeking treatment following Rapp’s allegations. However, yesterday Wolf said she was parting ways with the actor.
