Atomic Access offering 100Mbps fibre at R799 p/m for Black Friday

Everyone’s getting in on the Black Friday action, even internet service providers.

To that end Cape Town-based Atomic Access has announced a new deal for Black Friday 2018 that may be of interest to those living in the City Bowl.

Atomic Access is offering 100Mbps Fibre-to-the-Home for R799 per month, which previously cost R900-plus per month. It also includes free installation or migration on either Octotel or Frogfoot

The deal is called the Ludicrous Speed Dark Helmet deal, hence the referential Space Balls helmet in the header below.

“Light speed too slow? Upgrade to our Ludicrous Speed Dark Helmet deal. Get 100Mbps uncapped, unshaped fibre to the home for R799 per month! Also get a free installation or migration if you order in the next 5 days. It’s the best value deal in the galaxy! May the schwartz be with you,” reads an Atomic Access press release about the deal.

If you’re interested in the deal, there is one thing in particular you need to be aware of, and that’s when it comes to the choice of company you wish to run the fibre through.

If you go for Frogfoot, you can expect to receive up to the full 100Mbps speed on offer for both upload and download. On Octotel it’s a little different with up to 100Mbps download speeds, but only up to 25Mbps upload speeds.

If uploads are a key consideration for you then, it looks like Frogfoot is the better bet.

Remember that this deal is only running until 27th November.
