Eskom will move to Stage 5 loadshedding this afternoon, and will rotate between five and four until further notice.
According to Eskom’s standards, Karpowership could reduce loadshedding by a single stage if it is allowed to supply electricity.
If South Africa does get emergency power from Karpowership, we could see a reduction in loadshedding but not a big one.
