Liquid Intelligent Technologies has acquired a fibre pair on the Equiano subsea cable, allowing it to transport traffic up to 12 Terabits.
The 2Africa subsea cable has extended to The Arabian Gulf, Pakistan and India, as it now measures over 45 000 kilometres.
The 2Africa cable will bspan 37 000km and boast capacity of 180Tbps.
