The super app has grown significant of late, with Avo by Nedbank doubling its customer base in the last four months.
Previewed in June as it continued onboarding merchants and devs, now Vodacom’s super app VodaPay has launched in South Africa.
The super app could be used for streaming movies, listening to music, making payments, ecommerce, transferring money and more, according to Vodacom.
The digital marketplace is in beta currently, with Nedbank planning to have a fully fledged launch soon.
