Cult gaming hit Minecraft will get its next big update on the 1st of July and it brings all manner of equidae to the pixelated world. Donkeys, mules and of course horses with horse armour will make their first appearance along with leads, carpets, blocks of coal, two different types of clay as well as additional gameplay changes. Minecraft recently sold its 11 millionth PC licence and has been downloaded more than 20 million times across all platforms and in 2012 was the fourth most played title on Xbox Live based on average unique users per day
With the addition of horses it has to be just a matter of time before we get a Minecraft recreation of the original Old Spice advert
A list of changes and additions in Version 1.6 is available at the official Minecraft website.
