Super fast Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A version leaked

Yesterday we reported on the benchmarks of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and made reference to a possible Samsung Galaxy S4 variant in the works with this new piece of incredibly powerful silicon on board. Today we can all but confirm the existence of the device after the Korean language user manual for the SHV-E330S variant of the Galaxy S4 was posted in the Samsung download center. The document lists the CPU as the aforementioned beast and confirms that the LTE-Advanced version of the Galaxy S4 exists just as Samsung President J.K. Shin said it would.

The document also revealed that the device works on band 3 and 5 LTE which are used in South Korea where the phone is expected to launch within the next month. From what has been revealed by Samsung we don’t know if they will release the phone in any other markets but the good news for South Africans is that the Snapdragon 800 is a world chip that will support LTE and GSM in South Africa. We won’t be able to have LTE-A available for it because the networks don’t have enough spectrum to implement the service, but hey an LTE S4 in South Africa is already rare enough and this way you can have the bonus of one the fastest ARM CPUs on the planet in it as well.
