What tools do SA start-ups use?

Chums over at Silicon Cape wanted to know what tools local developers are using to create exciting South African software, and they did it in the only way they know how. Like true data nerds, they published an infographic for the world to share. It’s embedded below, and genuinely interesting. Turns out cool Capetonians write PHP, carry iPhones and use Facebook a lot. Who’d have guessed?

It’s a great stat round up to compare yourself to your peers. Only thing missing is that I’d have liked to have seen which platforms and devices they’re developing for, not just on.
