In light of FNB’s announcement that it’s new banking portal will go live this weekend, personal finance management (PFM) provider 22seven has confirmed that its solution won’t be compatible with FNB’s new web interface.

22seven’s web app uses a screen scraping solution from Yodlee. This technology uses computers to programatically access websites – however, with the new FNB site all functions and features will be moved around, and Yodlee’s technology won’t work as it does currently.

According to Andre Wessels at 22seven, the company’s PFM software will be compatible with the new FNB site within a few weeks, as they tweak and fiddle everything to make sure it’s all compatible.

Nowadays he gets more excited about photography, cars, game consoles, and faster internet connections. He's sort of an Apple fan, but will take any opportunity to remind you about his Windows-powered home theatre PC and desire to own a vanilla Android tablet.   Currently uses: Apple 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display, Apple iPhone 5, Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000, Audiofly AF78 Earphones, Xbox 360, Nikon D50.
