In an effort to help you dive deeper into the stories behind the tweets, Twitter has started testing out a new feature which shows where on the web a tweet has been embedded. The feature comes as Twitter CEO Dick Costolo has been driving the idea that Twitter will be used to monitor events in real time without the noise of your Twitter feed clouding the issue that you’re tracking. The feature should be a boon to social media managers looking for stats on how many times a tweet was embedded as well as those looking to research a topic.
