Sony plans to transform your smartphone into camera and back again

Move over Olloclip Sony is apparently planning to dominate the world of aftermarket smartphone photography accessories. Meet the DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 lenses, they have built-in Sony 20.2MP Exmor R camera sensor, an image processor, Wifi/NFC wireless connection and SD card slot which makes them point and shoot cameras without an LCD screen. The lenses can be magnetically attached to your phone and will use the WiFi connection to send the image to your smartphone which will control all of its functions. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Camera or Nokia Lumia 1020 both which both have a massive lens that protrudes from the body of the phone, the QX10 and QX100 are removable so that your smartphone only gets the added bulk of a camera when you want it to.
