Footage leaks of Titanfall’s alpha test in action

Titanfall is the next game from the guys that made Call of Duty into the monster franchise it is today, and it’s coming this year. March 14, to be exact.

But have you seen it in action, being played by gamers just like you? You can now, thanks to videos posted online, leaked out of this past weekend’s Xbox One alpha test. Unfortunately many of the original videos have been taken down already, but there are a few left, including the one at the end of this post.

Sure, EA doesn’t want you to see this, and neither does the developer, Respawn Entertainment.

That’s probably because the graphics don’t look next-gen: the textures are only a quarter of the fidelity they will be in the final release. This is according to a poster on NeoGAF, thought to be a Respawn employee. Even so, those giant robots are looking pretty good, and the frame rate appears butter-smooth.

Better watch this video while you can, before EA flexes its legal muscle and has it taken down, as it has with most of the other alpha footage videos that have been posted since the alpha started.
