YouTube unveils new design for easier navigation

YouTube has switched things up a bit with a few changes to the overall site design to make it easier for you to navigate the site and collect playlists.

The site has a new centre-aligned design similar to that of its mobile apps, with ‘What to Watch’ and all your channel subscriptions still on the left-hand side, but now also in the front and centre of the home page. Alternatively, the guide icon on the right of the YouTube logo will take you straight playlists, subscriptions and recommended channels.

Playlists you have created, as well as playlists from other channels you liked are now easier to find with a guide on the left of every page. Additionally, when you create a new playlist, you’ll now see a new page that’s been added to make editing easier.

YouTube has already begun rolling this new design out so you should be seeing it now, otherwise it’ll appear in the next couple of days.
