Fingerprint security access? Try using your heartbeat

If you have way too many passwords to memorise, the beating organ in your chest could be the new key to unlocking your house, computer, smartphone and even your car. That’s if the makers of the Nymi wristband have their way.

Nymi, created by Canadian-based company Bionym, uses electrocardiogram sensors to map your unique heartbeat pattern to identify you and opens up your car, mobile device and more via Bluetooth.

Nymi is available for pre-order for $89 on the website.
