In between the star-studded glitz, glamour and handing over of golden statuettes at the Oscars in the wee hours of this morning, Ellen DeGeneres posted a selfie that broke the record for most popular tweet of all time and is probably one of the best selfies ever.
Armed with a Samsung smartphone and surrounded by big stars whom she calls friends, such as Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Lupita Nyong’o and Kevin Spacey, Degeneres posted this tweet to her 26.5 million followers.
The tweet already has more than 2.2 million retweets and counting, knocking President Barack Obama’s “Four more years” tweet and photo right out of the park.
