Nothing quite shows off your personality more than what you wear on your feet. One of the other ways we express ourselves in conversation these days is through the art of emojis. Combine the two and you get the Edie Parker x Del Toro ‘M’oticons’ loafers.

Italian shoe makers, Del Toro, collaborated with designer Edie Parker to come up with a range of loafers that express a certain attitude, mood or statement using emojis. The loafers are currently being sold on the Moda Operandi online boutique and they come with a hefty price tag.

For instance, you can get these Tongue-in-Cheek loafers for $340 (around R3 500)

Or these ‘Queen Bee’ loafers for the same price.

Or how about something bolder, like these ‘I’m the s**t’ loafers, also for $340.

Each loafer also has its own clutch bag with either the emojis or a hashtag statement on it. The clutches go for a heftier $1 600.
