This year’s Call of Duty stars Kevin Spacey

You know what Call of Duty needs? More Kevin Spacey.

Clearly, that’s what Activision believes, because there was a whole lot of Kevin Spacey in this year’s Call of Duty reveal that emerged last week. The trailer, unveiled on Friday, showed off a digital Spacey having a full-on political rant while some seriously cool-looking future-soldiers blew stuff up in a montage featuring some of the game’s action sequences. An interesting side-note: it looks to us like Spacey’s digital double has more hair than he does.

As always, the trailer is the polished masterpiece we have come to expect from Activision and all of that Call of Duty money of theirs. Check it out below, and see if it hits all the right notes, or if it’s looking like just another ridiculously over-the-top Call of Duty title.

Personally, I think it’s looking pretty good and after enjoying Ghosts as much as I did, I’m really looking forward to playing Advanced Warfare. Expect it to launch some time around November, and to come out on all major platforms, except maybe Nintendo’s struggling Wii U.
