Humble Store adds weekly Flash Bundles

In my daily travels across the game-related internet, I discovered a brand-new addition to the Humble Bundle Store: Flash Bundles. These new bundles last for just 24 hours, and go live every Monday at 11am PDT (8pm in South Africa).

The first Flash Bundle is in fact a re-bundle of a popular Codemasters offering. For a minimum donation of one dollar (R11 or so) you can grab four full games and one DLC pack: Overlord and its Raising Hell DLC, two Operation Flashpoint games (Red River and Dragon Rising) and action RPG Rise of the Argonauts. All games are redeemed on Steam.

Pay six dollars or more and you’ll also get two of Codemasters’ best racing games, DiRT Showdown and DiRT 3, along with the well-received Overlord II.

Of course, feel free to give more as every dollar goes directly to the developers, the Humble Bundle people or the “Prince’s Trust” charity, or you can split your donation between them all in any way you choose.

The Humble Bundle Store used to do something similar a while back with what they called Daily Bundles. These changed every 24 hours and ran over a period of two weeks; this more staggered approach promises to be a lot less overwhelming.

So set your alarms for 8pm every Monday night, and get your credit cards ready.
