Will Apple’s new iPhone 6 Plus fit into your skinny jeans?

By now you would have heard and read almost everything there is to know about Apple’s new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus – including that they are 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, respectively. Just in case if you haven’t go check out our coverage from Apple’s live event here.

While the biggest version of the new phone is substantially larger than what has been offered before, many potential iPhone 6 Plus users have been asking the fundamental questions of “will it fit into my skinny jeans?”

Well, luckily for you the good folk over at Ars Technica has made a handy print-out that compares the iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus against each other in real measurements. So if you want to get an accurate idea of what the phone will feel like in your hand or in your pants pocket, just print it out on fairly sturdy paper and viola, you have the real-time measurements of the new flagship.

“I grabbed Apple’s official press shot of the iPhone 5S compared with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and I whipped up some quick wireframe drawings to scale. You can print them out, cut around the edges with a pair of scissors, and hold the paper outlines in your hand to see just what each size really feels like,” wrote Ars’ Aurich Lawson.
