Tonight at Apple’s major September event we got introduced to not one, but two brand new iPhones – the 4.7 inch display toting iPhone 6 and a phablet sized 5.5 inch display wielding iPhone 6 Plus. While it may be the first time Apple has stepped foot into the large smartphone display arena, especially in the phablet category, many other manufacturers have already been offering massive display equipped devices for years already.

So how does Apple’s latest attempt to keep the throngs of iFans happy stack up to the best in the phablet game? We’ve compiled a list of all of the specs from the best large screen phablet-sized smartphones in the game including the category’s progenitor the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the fantastic LG G3, Sony’s new Xperia Z3 and Nokia’s monster 6 inch Lumia 1520 phablet and we’ve stacked them up against the iPhone 6 Plus to see how it fares in the numbers department.

We’re still getting in all of the specs for you and will keep updating the table as we go.
