If you are Standard Bank customer and experience any glitches with the bank’s app, cellphone or internet banking this Sunday, don’t fret, it won’t be another another technical glitch like the one that happened two weeks ago bringing down virtually all Standard Bank services, but rather scheduled maintenance being done by the bank.

This heads up comes directly from Standard Bank as it says there will be planned downtime to do routine maintenance of its internal systems.

You will however be able to withdraw and deposit from ATMs debit, cheque and credit cards to make payments.

““Standard Bank aims to ensure that our customers have a positive banking experience whenever they make use of our range of banking services,” says Standard Bank’s chief executive for personal and business banking, Funeka Montjane.

“We understand the frustration and impact to customers that the disruption may have and apologise in advance for any inconvenience. In order to ensure that the impact is minimal, we urge customers to please plan ahead in terms of their banking requirements,” Montjane concludes.
