A Goat Simulator MMO is on the way

Those strange people over at Coffee Stain Studios will be turning Goat Simulator into a massively multiplayer online game with a Patch 1.2 that’s rolling out on the 20th of November.

Yes, that’s right, as of the 20th owners of the original game will be able to headbutt things, fall off buildings, skate down long ramps and more with their friends, at no extra cost. That “and more” includes what Coffee Stain is calling “faction warfare between goats and sheep”, quests to do and five classes to play: Warrior, Rouge, Magician, Hunter and… uh… “microwave”. Yes, really.

They announced it recently on their YouTube channel:

They’ve also put out a 12-minute video of the game in action on their Facebook page. It’s a little NSFW due to some bad language, but it will give you a taste of what’s to come. And here I thought the game couldn’t get any more bonkers.

I played and loved Goat Simulator earlier this year, and will definitely be firing up my copy on Thursday. If you’re new to the game, you can grab it for R110 or so ($9.99) on Steam.
