Fans love BroForce so much, they made a short live-action film about it

In a delightfully meta development, fans have made a short film about a game based on movie and TV characters. It’s called Team BroForce, and you can watch it right now.

That’s right, South African-made PC title BroForce has inspired such a dedicated following that a production company called Forgehouse Films has made a four-minute, live-action clip starring a handful of Bros who spend those minutes doing what they do best: blowing up terrorists who dare oppose ‘Merica. And that’s pretty rad.

The clip stars Rambro, BA Broracus, Bro in Black and MacBrover as well as a handful of masked terrorists whose only purpose is to die spectacularly for your amusement. Just like in the game.

ForgeHouse is no stranger to fan films, having previous worked on another one called Hell of a DayZ (one guess which game that’s based on). The production value of Team BroForce isn’t all that bad considering Forgehouse is “a film collaboration between a group of like minded individuals dedicated to creating interesting and entertaining new media”. So amateurs who like film and games, then.

The video is cheesy as hell, but a lot of fun. Enjoy!

If you haven’t yet played BroForce, it’s available right now on Steam for $14.99 (around R168). If you’d like a smaller bite-sized taste of the game, you could also download “Expendabros”, a free promotional tie-in with the third Expendables movie that puts Bros from those movies into BroForce’s over-the-top action.
