In this week’s Africast, Dave, Charlie and I talk about our favourite tech of 2014 since we’re a third of the way through December already, and 94% of the way through the year.

Not surprisingly, both Dave and Charlie choose something smartphoney (it’s been a good year for those, clearly), while I go for something a little less “available now” and a lot more “coming soon”. Also, I get all excited any time I hear anything about it, and I just had to share. Care to guess what it is?

We also spend a few minutes chatting about huge TVs having spent some time with a massive 84-inch Hisense box recently, and you might be surprised to hear what we think. Is there such a thing as “too big” when it comes to TVs, or is the real problem “rooms that are too small”?
