From 8AM this morning, stage two loadshedding will kick in and last throughout most of the day all the way to 10PM, Eskom has said.

In the later part of yesterday, the national power utility moved to stage three loadshedding for the first time this year as a result of a reduction in its of generation capacity and urgent maintenance that needed to be performed at the Majuba and Duvha power stations.
