World’s first drone circus looks absolutely amazing

As drones, or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) if you prefer, become a bit more mainstream in our society, there are still a number of questions around where they can be flied and where they should rather stay grounded.

But The Netherlands will be in for a rather spectacular show in the coming months as the world’s first drone circus will be entertaining the Dutch at the Amsterdam Arena.

What exactly is a drone circus? Well, it’s precisely as the name implies: expect high-flying, brightly-lit and fast-moving drones doing all sorts of spectacular stuff.

It looks incredibly like a drone version of the famous ‘Tron’ films, but watch the trailer for the show below and see for yourself.

The shows is called ‘Air’ and tickets will go on sale soon, while the creators say “this show reaches a new level in entertainment where visitors will be immersed into 3D effects instead of standard 2D experience, proving that innovation is sensational and nothing is impossible!”

We have to be honest in saying that it looks absolutely amazing.

“AIR allows you to experience a variety of ballet and battles, races and lasers, circus, illusions and most of all magic from hundreds of drones.”

If drones circuses are going to become a thing, we are not complaining. It’s a lot better than using animals, in any case.
