While Star Wars fans around the world still have a few weeks to wait for the official debut of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, you can in the meantime geek out on Twitter with the newly launched #StarWarsEmojis.

Twitter has partnered with Disney and Lucasfilm to bring customised emojis to users, starting with the faces of C3PO, BB8 and a StormTrooper.

“Tweeting a #StarWarsEmoji is simple,” the company said, “Twitter users who post hashtags representing keywords associated with specific Star Wars characters and legacy themes will see a small emoji-like icon automatically appended to the end of the text of the tag, embedded within the Tweet.”

More Star Wars character emojis will be revealed as the build up to the movie release continues. To keep up with news and updates, you can follow the @StarWars account and the #TheForceAwakens hashtag.
