While Star Wars fans around the world still have a few weeks to wait for the official debut of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, you can in the meantime geek out on Twitter with the newly launched #StarWarsEmojis.
Twitter has partnered with Disney and Lucasfilm to bring customised emojis to users, starting with the faces of C3PO, BB8 and a StormTrooper.
“Tweeting a #StarWarsEmoji is simple,” the company said, “Twitter users who post hashtags representing keywords associated with specific Star Wars characters and legacy themes will see a small emoji-like icon automatically appended to the end of the text of the tag, embedded within the Tweet.”
