Entrepreneurs: entries are open for Seed Academy’s next think.be.do accelerator program

Startup incubator Seed Academy‘s Think.Be.Do 2015 program will be kicking off soon and it’s inviting entrepreneurs in Johannesburg and Cape Town to sign up and gain personal and leadership development training.

think.be.do offers a range of courses and modules focusing on equipping entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge, including sound business skills, the creation of a business plan as well as pitching to attract funding, needed to start their own businesses.

Classes are held over 10 weeks after business hours and are facilitated by experienced professionals from within the entrepreneurship sector.

“Time at the course isn’t spent on academic or theoretical content but rather on practical, useful training and mentoring that will directly benefit the business,” Seed Academy said about the program.

At the end of the program, entrepreneurs pitch their business to a panel of experts and facilitators for the chance to receive funding for their projects.

Enrolling for think.be.do will cost you R16 000, but there are sponsorship opportunities available from a number of Seed Academy corporate partners.

The previous batch of think.be.do entrepreneurs recently completed their 10-week stint, with  Chris Pretorius of Visual Render from Cape Town and David Kuun and Eduard Grootendorst of What If Studios from Johannesburg, winning the pitch competition.

If you’re interested in doing the think.be.do program, head over to the Seed Academy website and fill in the application form.
