As you can see the range features all the specifications that we’ve come to expect from smartphones in 2015 but what struck us like a red hot poker to the face was the dual SIM support coupled with LTE capabilities.

Why is this a great feature? It’s probably best if Hisense South Africa product manager, Mark Zhang explains.

“All three of our new smartphones are LTE enabled, allowing for fast internet access and speedy video downloads. Hisense have also included dual-SIM slots to ensure that users can switch between networks when they want,” Zhang said in a statement.

Lovers of selfies will be excited to see the inclusion of an LED flash on the front camera of the Pureshot LTE model which will make taking photos of yourself in low-light much better according to Hisense. We quite like the 8MP snapper on the front of the K8, its a nice upgrade from the usual 5MP prevalent in handsets at the R5 000 pricing point.

We’re looking forward to testing this new range when it launches at retail stores across South Africa at the end of November.
