Dying Light’s spoof DLC detailed, is cheaper than water

Dying Light’s free DLC as part of the #DrinkForDLC has been detailed, and it’s all themed around water.

Back in June, the oddly named campaign was designed to make fun of “Red Bull Quest” – a marketing partnership between Destiny and Red Bull in which DLC for the game was locked behind physically buying a can of Red Bull. Dying Light’s developer Techland decided to ask its players to post a picture of themselves drinking water with the hashtag to become eligible for DLC.

The three pieces of the new DLC have been revealed as a new weapon, a new quest and parkour challenges.

Owners of the original game will get the DLC as part of an update, and it will be included in the Enhanced Edition.

In these times of silly marketing ploys and parts of games being kept away from paying customers, we’re once again reminded of the painfully funny 4Chan Green Text commonly referred to as “please drink a verificiation can to continue”.  If you’ve never read this little piece of anonymous literary genius, we’ve pasted it below.
