Geekulcha Electronics rebrands as Geekulcha Makers

Geekulcha Electronics, our good friends that hold multiple hackathons throughout the year, have been remade and will now be called Geekulcha Makers.

The change comes with a spiffy new site, and their Electronics Wednesday meetup will now be known as MakerSense.

Geekulcha Makers will continue to be responsible for hackathons, as well as Arduino Day SA, Kimberley Diamond Cup , contributions to the Bloodhound Challenge, Intel Internet of Things (IoT), gkVacWork, Open Data and community outreach (among many other things).

To round off the year, they will be hosting an Intel Developer Zone event where participants will be taught how to create apps within Intel’s environment. It will also feature various talks, a “show and tell”, pitching of apps, hands on demonstrations and then a final demonstration of the apps. See details for the event below.
