Get your 2015 Matric results here

As the end of the year approaches and everything starts to wind down, those leaving school after 12 years at their desks have one more thing to look forward to besides Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Dreaded by some and hotly anticipated by others, the final year marks for the Class of 2015 will be announced at the end of the month, and while you could read it in the local newspaper, Eyewitness News has set up a really cool website instead.

Right now, there obviously aren’t any Matric results for this year posted, but you can sign up to be notified via SMS when they are available.

As an added bonus, the website has an archive of Matric results from 2008 to 2014, arranged by province, school and student number.

In the archive, student names are still used for easy identification from 2008 to 2013, but for last year’s results the Department of Basic Education no longer supplied learner names for publication with the National Senior Certificate Results.

If you want to check out some names, you would have to know their student number.

When this year’s results are released by the Department of Basic Education, it will also be placed in the archive, so you will be able to easily find your own results.

Rivaling EWN, eNCA has also set up a facility where you can be notified about the release. Filling in the online form eNCA will then send you a mobile link to the 2015 Matric results as soon as they’re released.
