OpenWeb dished out free Uncapped internet for new sign-ups

One of the major hassles when it comes to switching ISPs is that some insist you give a calendar month’s notice before you can cancel your account. If you don’t want to do that, you run the risk of paying for two service providers just so that can have a better connection.

OpenWeb is well aware of this, which is why the company has announced that if you sign up to one of its Uncapped packages in December, you’ll get the rest of the month for free.

The reason this is being done, is because the company recently upgraded its network.

“We have introduced a large amount of capacity to our network which has allowed us to offer our products on ADSL, VDSL, and Fibre and reduce shaping by a large margin,” said Keoma Wright, Founder of OpenWeb.co.za.

Here are the uncapped packages to choose from:

  • 1Mbps – R99
  • 2Mbps – R149
  • 4Mbps – R249
  • 6Mbps – R299
  • 8Mbps – R349
  • 10Mbps – R399
  • 20Mbps – R799

“Order Now and take advantage of our FREE promotion!  You will not pay a cent for your account for the entire December!  On 1 January 2016 you pay the incredibly low prices as advertised above,” OpenWeb’s website exclaims.

OpenWeb also added that if you sign up for one of the accounts in the next 48 hours, you will also get two concurrent connections. That means you will be able to log into and use your ADSL account from two different locations or lines, perfect for people who want to share their ADSL connections with, say, their parents.
