Netflix has dropped the trailer for the fourth season of its House Of Cards series – and it’s a doozy.
Fans of the show will note that the snippets of action it contains hint that Netflix’s show about skulduggery in Washington is about to become a lot darker than before. Seeing as how its protagonist, Francis Urquhart (played by Kevin Spacey) has used betrayal, dirty tricks and even murder in his quest to become president, that’s saying something.
Maybe Netflix felt that with Donald Trump surging ahead in race to become the Republican candidate for president, we all need a little light relief.
Apparently the new series is set for release on Netflix on the 4th of March this year. Well, North America and Europe at any rate. There’s still no word whether South Africans will be able to watch House Of Cards Season 4. At present both it and Orange Is The New Black are two Netflix-made TV shows that are unavailable for streaming locally.
It’s likely because DStv has exclusive rights to broadcast these shows in SA for the time being. That having been said, VPNs are still able – at least for the moment – to gift users access to Netflix selections in different countries to the one in which they’re based.
