Help a future techie in need by buying a VIP Net Prophet ticket

Net Prophet, the annual gathering of entrepreneurs, online professionals, and all-rounds geeks, is happening again this year on 7 April.

Taking place at the Artscape Opera House, the event will feature 12 local and international speakers who will be sharing their stories, passion, trend forecasts and the lessons they have learnt through their years in the online industry in a TED talk type forum.

Speakers for this year’s event haven’t been announced yet, past events have featured the likes of Arthur Goldstuck from World Wide Worx, Triggerfish’s Stuart Forrest and even Julian Assange from WikiLeaks.

The event also announced that for the first time, attendees will be able to ‘pay it forward’ when they buy a VIP ticket – which is on sale now.

“A VIP ticket will enable you to interact with speakers and some of the industry’s greatest minds plus part of your ticket goes towards sponsoring a bootstrapped start-up or a student who may otherwise be unable to attend the conference. One VIP ticket equals one sponsored ticket for a techie/geek in need,” Net Prophet explained.

Early Bird VIP Tickets are on sale for R750 and include breakfast, lunch, Golden Circle seating, bottomless freshly ground coffee and access to the Net Prophet after party.

Tickets can be purchased through Computicket at R750 for Early Bird VIP and R450 for general entrance.
