Oculus, Inc has been riding the back seat of the virtual reality train over the last couple of months as other VR efforts like Samsung’s Gear VR have hogged the public limelight somewhat.
But that is all about to change as Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg announced a full list of 30 games that will be available to play on the Oculus Rift headset when it launches.
In a video montage released last night by Zuck himself, which we’ve posted below, Facebook showed them off.
The full list of games is a bit of a mixed bag, and honestly we’re not sure how exciting some of them will be. Some games, on the other hand, like space sim Elite Dangerous and Adrift – a game about an astronaut drifting around in space after an accident destroys the space station he was on – look like they could be absolutely brilliant on VR. Project CARS, too.
Have a look at the list and the video below, and let us know just how excited you are for virtual reality to really start taking off this year.
