If you’ve ever thought it would be fantastic if you could search for a better mobile contract while also comparing insurance options online, you’re in luck: thanks to a partnership between mobile phone optimisation service Tariffic and insurance package comparison website Hippo.co.za, you can now do just that.

The two services decided to join forces in a move that sees Tariffic’s mobile phone contract comparison service being made available on the Hippo.co.za website, under their Home & Utilities category.

So now you will be able to get the best comparisons on life and health insurance, and should you also want to shop for a new mobile phone contract, it will be just a click away on the same website.

“There is currently no other service that offers South Africans such a detailed comparison service, and we are thrilled to be the first to offer this to Hippo.co.za’s visitors,” said Derek Wilson, Head of Hippo.co.za.

According to the media release we received, the appeal of the partnership is that neither company is affiliated to any particular mobile phone operator, so the contract bundles will compare like-for-like and no mobile operator will get preference.

“Customers will also be shown what bundles they need to add, how much they can expect to spend out-of-bundle and how much their cellphone bill will come to every month,” a joint statement reads.

To sweeten the deal a bit, if you happen to spot the mobile contract deal that you want, you can also purchase it directly from the website.
