Instructions to build your own LEGO Ronin from Titanfall 2

Since Titanfall 2’s launch in October last year, we’ve been covering unique LEGO recreations of the game’s Titans from two builders, “Nick Brick” and Marius Herrmann.

Unfortunately for those wanting to build their own, neither builder made their instructions available. Herrmann confirmed to us that he would not be creating any, but Nick Brick has answered our prayers by not only creating instructions to follow, but also providing a full parts list.

The Titan that is receiving this treatment is the sword-wielding Ronin. To make your own you’ll need all the parts in this rather extensive list.

The instructions have been done as a video:

Alternatively you can view the Ronin build as a digital recreation in the LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) programme. You’ll need to download the file from Dropbox. The LDD programme itself is also a free download that works on Windows and OSX.

If you’re new to the world of custom LEGO builds there’s little chance that you have all the required pieces. Your best bet if that’s indeed the case is to use LEGO’s own Pick A Brick service or the third party site Bricklink to get them.

Both of these sites have their own problems. Pick A Brick isn’t available in many countries and may be more expensive, and Bricklink is a very complicated site where knowing which seller to buy from is important. We suggest reading up on a few Bricklink guides before making any big purchases.

Don’t forget that this build is also big enough to fit a LEGO minifigure in the middle to act as a Pilot. You could, if you want, pop Iron Man or Indiana Jones in there if you’re so inclined.
