The photos Trump’s climate change denying administration needs to see

There are some problems that can’t solved until you take a step back and look at them from a bird’s eye view.

One such problem is climate change and while it’s hard for some to see the effects of humanity’s love of fossil fuel, NASA has made things a bit easier.

The organisation has released a set of photos on its website titled Images of Change.

The photos present an aerial before and after snapshot of our planet and if you happen to still believe that climate change is not real they offer a glimpse into the harrowing reality.

Glaciers in Antartica in 1975 (left) and 2015 (right)The image above shows glaciers on the west of Antarctica in 1975 against the same area in 2015.

Other areas of interest include the melting of the McCarty Glacier in Alaska between 1909 and 2004 and how Lake Mead’s water level has dropped between 1984 and 2016.

The release of these photos is rather well timed as President Donald Trump’s administration faces accusations that it will force the Enviromental Protection Agency to remove a section on its website devoted to climate change.

“If the website goes dark, years of work we have done on climate change will disappear,” and EPA employee told Reuters.

We struggle to find a way for anybody to look at these photos and say climate change is a sham. Of course we know by now that even when presented with facts, some folks just don’t want to believe what science shows us.
