Google Gnome is real thanks to this 3D print

For April Fool’s this year Google Home became Google Gnome as the company pretended to tout out a new version of the home assistant, for the outdoor parts of your home.

Instead of leaving it as a simple joke video that you can watch below, the makers of the internet have made it real. Thanks to these free files you can find on Thingiverse, you can print yourself a “real” Google Gnome.

It looks like the files come with two options: a solid plastic version and some hollow sleeves, which you can actually put onto a functioning Home unit. This will, however, impact the functionality of the device, with the speakers, lights and touch surface being covered up by the prints.
