Skip the questing and 3D print the Rat King from Destiny 2

Since the launch of Destiny 2, the maker community has been pumping out new 3D prints for the most desirable weapons, and the Rat King is the next gun to receive the treatment.

Created by Jonathan Mason, the print measures in at around 310 millimetres, so you’re going to be using a lot of filament. Mason is also the one responsible for this impressive Sunshot build, so he knows what he’s doing.

Far from a static prop, there’s a removable magazine and individual bullets for extra authenticity. There’s a couple of options for printing the handle too, with a smooth variant available so it can be wrapped in leather or some other suitable material to get the desired effect.

To make your own Rat King grab the files from MyMiniFactory and start printing. We also found another version of the same design on Thingiverse and it’s even bigger at 400 millimetres long.

Alternatively, if you’re not a fan of this specific weapon, take a visit to the Destiny 2 STL Generator which gives you a great starting point to make your own prints.
