Another 3D print of D.Va’s Light Gun – this time it actually lights up

D.Va is an Overwatch character that has received a lot of love in the 3D printing community, with her Light Gun sidearm receiving another variant.

While we’ve seen this weapon 3D printed a number of times, even in different skins, this one is a bit different thanks to the addition of a lighting system.

Uploader Dranosh&Gwen Cosplay has hallowed out the inside of the print to allow for the installation of LEDs. They light up select areas as they do in the game with the switch located above the handle.

The battery which powers this is cleverly hidden where the magazine should be, and it can be slid out for replacements.

This mechanism, and the battery, are unfortunately not part of the files available on Thingiverse, so you will need to so dome post-printing work to make it function properly.

You can also see a quick timelapse of the assembly on YouTube together with a demo we’ve clipped as a gif below.

If that’s just not enough D.Va in your life, make sure you check out the scale model of her and her mech.
