Video footage from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft from the past 9 years has been uploaded to YouTube in magnificent 4K. Seeing 9 years of lunar reconnaissance footage put together in one nearly 5 minute long video is truly a spectacle to behold.
As the visualisation moves around the near side, far side, north and south poles, we highlight interesting features, sites, and information gathered on the lunar terrain.
