2018 has been good year for PlayStation-exclusive titles, and the next one up is Marvel’s Spider-Man. In order to whet the gaming appetite even further, a new Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle has been revealed by Sony.

As you can likely tell from the images, this console is not kitted out in a stealthy black like the standard PS4 Pro model. Instead it opts for an all over “Amazing Red” along with Spidey’s chest emblem from the game emblazoned on the front in white.

The accompanying DualShock 4 controller has received a similar paint job, with buttons and analog sticks in white. You’re going to want to keep some wet wipes close by because those controls will get filthy after a few days of gaming.

Nevertheless it looks superb, and if you haven’t bitten the bullet and purchased a PS4 Pro, this new bundle offers the perfect excuse.

Sadly, there is only one controller included in this bundle, and no mention of being able to purchase an additional standalone one to create a matching pair.

What is included with this bundle though is a physical copy of Marvel’s Spider-man, as well as redeemable vouchers for yet-to-be confirmed in-game DLC.

Currently up for pre-order on US sites like Amazon and Best Buy, the Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle will cost $399 if you live in that part of the world.

We’ve contacted local PlayStation hardware distributor Ster-Kinekor to find out if this bundle will be coming to South Africa, but haven’t received feedback as of yet. We haven’t seen it listed by local gaming retailers either, which could mean this may be a very limited edition offering.

Hopefully more information about Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle’s status in South Africa will be forthcoming and we’ll be sure to update you when we learn more.
