All panel discussions at Comic Con Africa are free, but on a first-come-first-served basis

Earlier today we outlined the pricing for autographs at Comic Con Africa.

In that – and previous – articles we mentioned that panel discussions at Comic Con Africa would come with a fee because that’s been the message from the organisers since day one.

We have now learned that this is not the case despite the Comic Con Africa website and Computicket stating that “All ticket prices exclude additional add on’s [sic] like autograph sessions and panel sessions”.

“We are sure that all panels and workshops are free and will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis,” a representative for Comic Con Africa told Hypertext over email after being asked to confirm the details.

Thankfully there is an event programme available for you to check out online so that you can plan your attendance accordingly especially as regards the more popular panels featuring folks like Anthony Mackie.

That having been said, free panels at Comic Con Africa mean you can now dedicate all your extra cash to autographs and merchandise.
