In case you missed the news (somehow) the first Comic Con on African soil was held in Johannesburg last week.

The event was overwhelmingly well received by attendees and – to sound a tad esoteric for a moment – the vibe and electricity in the air was unlike anything we’ve experienced before.

In this edition of the Africast we chat about our experience of the con including what we did and didn’t enjoy.

While Brendyn spent very little time at the event Robin and Clinton spent most of Friday at the event and cannot praise it enough.

The organisers of Comic Con Africa, Reed Exhibitions, have already confirmed that the event will return in 2019 though exact dates have not yet been specified.

If you missed out on this year’s con we highly recommend keeping an eye out for ticket announcements for the 2019 event, tickets sold like hotcakes this year.
